Medicine:

• The medicine programme is 6 years, taught entirely in English.
• During the first 2 years students will learn the theoretical aspects of medicine, and in the years  3-5 the focus is more on clinical aspects of medicine.
• In the final year, there will be a year-long internship in a local hospital.
• Upon completion of all requirements over the 6 years, students will be become a Doctor of Medicine (MD) and obtain a master’s degree.
• Graduates can choose to obtain employment in Georgia or in a hospital and country of their choosing around the world, including the UK, USA, and India.

Dentistry:

• Dentistry course at CIU takes 5 years, taught entirely in English.
• The first 2 years will focus largely on pre-clinical study where students will gain an understanding of dentistry fundamentals.
• In years 3-5, the focus primarily will be on clinical training. The course ends with a 6 month internship.
• This 5 year dentistry course will give students a thorough understanding of all areas related to pre & post clinical procedures relating to dentistry.
• Successful students will be rewarded the title of Dentist and earn a master’s degree.
• Graduates can obtain employment in Georgia or continue with their practice in the USA, the UK, and India.

Admission deadline:

For fall semester – August 15th,

For spring semester – February 15th.

Required documents with Secondary Education:

1. A copy of a document verifying citizenship (Passport)
2. A copy of document verifying the completion of general secondary education acquired abroad or its equivalent degree.
3. A filled-in application form.
4. 2 photos 3×4 cm in size.
